"When Serangoon NPC first introduced this programme to me, I was keen and even urged my RC committee members, including my wife, to help combat crimes within our neighbourhood by signing up as COS members. The deployment flexibility for surveillance duties is the main reason that attracted our committee members to participate in this project. Furthermore, information on the crime trend is more precise and we are able to tackle the concerned crime more effectively. With the training session provided, I am now more observant towards the surroundings and people even when I was having my dinner at the coffee shops."
